Marguerite is a timeless style cardigan (truth is it’s the favorite cardigan of our sweet granny!) It’s oversized, cropped and with lace details.
COMPOSITION
The cardigan is knitted from bottom to top. Back and front edges are knitted separately and then assembled to form the body. The body is knitted back and forth on circular needles in one part till armholes. Then it’s divide into 3 parts (2 fronts & 1 back) and finally 4 parts when reaching collar. The front and back shoulders stitches are bound off using 3 needles cast off method. Sleeves are knitted in the round form the armholes

GAUGE
10cm x 10cm = 15st x 24rws in stockinette

YARN
6 – (6) – 7 – (8) – 8 balls of cocooning from Bergère de France (50g ≃125 m, Aig 6,5 mm, 47% polyester, 27% wool et 26% acrylique)
or
750 - (750) - 900 - (1000) - 1100 m of equivalent yarn
MATERIALS
- 4.5mm circular needles of 80cm and DPNs
- 6mm circular needles of 80 cm and 40cm
- 5 buttons (15mm)
TECHNIQUES
- 3 needle bind off

I enjoyed knitting it! Not too plain to get bored making it, not too intricate to be fiddly, I liked making it!
It was a lot of fun. Such a lovely pattern, and love the fantasy lace stitch!
J'ai adoré le tricoter !! Ça faisait quelques temps que je n'avais pas tricoté en 6, les rangs montent si vite, c'est super de voir bien avancer son tricot comme ça J'ai découvert les côtes torses, et je trouve que ça donne une bonne stabilité aux côtes, je réutiliserai cette technique, c'est sûr ! Et la dentelle sur l'avant est magnifique Bravo pour le design, pour moi, c'est une réussite !
